How to Find Us

From the North

From the North

Travelling south from Shrewsbury on the A49, continue through Church Stretton, and then after approximately 4.5 miles, you will see a sign that you are entering Marshbrook, turn left off the A49, signposted to Acton Scott. After two thirds of a mile, you will reach the small crossroads that represents the centre of Acton Scott. The Historic Working Farm is a quarter of a mile further along this road. Taking the right hand exit from this crossroads, Acton Scott Hall is a quarter of a mile down the road and on your left. The Church of St Margaret is half a mile along this road and on your right.

From the North

From the South

Travelling north from Ludlow on the A49, continue through Craven Arms, and then after approximately 4.5 miles, you will see a sign that you are entering Marshbrook, turn right immediately, off the A49, signposted to Acton Scott. After two thirds of a mile, you will reach the small crossroads that represents the centre of Acton Scott. The Historic Working Farm is a quarter of a mile further along this road. Taking the right hand exit from this crossroads, Acton Scott Hall is a quarter of a mile down the road and on your left. The Church of St Margaret is half a mile along this road and on your right.

By Rail

There are two railway stations, each approximately 4.5 miles from Acton Scott. These are Church Stretton and Craven Arms on the Manchester to Newport Line with connections from Shrewsbury, Hereford and Newport.
