As the next generation of Actons we are continually restoring and maintaining parts of the house, gardens and woodland. Current projects include a restoration of the secret Rock Garden and the creation of a wildflower garden near the house.
For the first time, the family are opening the doors to this timeless gem by offering private group Tours of the house, grounds and gardens. Intricate oak panelling, decorative Jacobean carvings and fascinating heirlooms are all part of what makes Acton Scott Hall unique. In addition, collaborations with local experts, artists and instructors that run throughout the year offer a personal insight into Acton Scott Hall's history and developments.
Each season offers its own stunning colours on the Acton Scott Estate, with views over Wenlock Edge and Hope Bowdler Hill. Situated in a Shropshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Acton Scott Hall offers a tranquil and elegant venue for Events and Filming. We are now able to offer Accommodation at Acton Scott Hall for those attending our events or private functions.
